Ben was born in Fairmont, WV and was a nontraditional college student, having served as an Army Ranger for 6 years from 2004-2010 which included multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Following his military career with an interest in anatomy and kinesiology, Ben enrolled at WVU and graduated in 2014 with a BS in Exercise Physiology. He went on to complete WVU’s physical therapy program, graduating as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2017. He joined the Mountain State team in 2017 and plans to pursue a certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in the future. He has particular interest in painful disorders of the spine, particularly low back pain.
Alison "Paige" Hacker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2014 from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2017 from West Virginia University. She joined Mountain State Physical therapy in June of 2017 and is board certified by the state of West Virginia. Her interests include manual therapy, sports related injuries/prevention, and vestibular rehabilitation.
Erric Waddell is a 2011 graduate of Pierpont Community and Technical College with a AAS Physical Therapist Assistant degree. Erric is board certified by the state of West Virginia. He has been employed with Mountain State Physical Therapy since 2002.
In 1991, Traci graduated from Salem College, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and Physical Education. In 2000, she graduated from Fairmont State University, cum laude, as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Since graduation,Traci has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, acute care and outpatient clinics. She joined the staff at Mountain State Physical Therapy in July 2009.
Ashley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Fairmont State University in 2015. She graduated with her Associate of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant in May of 2018. Ashley started working for Mountain State Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist aide and receptionist in 2014 and worked through college until she became licensed through the WV Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Ryder Witherell is a 1987 graduate of West Virginia State College with BS in Secondary Education Biology/Chemistry and 1989 graduate of West Virginia University with a MS in Exercise Physiology. After working as an Exercise Physiologist, Ryder returned to West Virginia University and graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1996. Shortly after graduation, Ryder returned to active duty service in the Air Force as a Physical Therapist until his retirement in Jan 2016. While on active duty, he obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine in 2011, OCS certification from the APTA in 2014, APTA Clinical Instructor certification and is ASTYM certified. His particular interests include manual therapy of the spine, pelvis and extremities.
